The Molecular Medicine Research Institute (MMRI) is a public nonprofit medical research institute located in Sunnyvale, California. Our goal is to better understand the molecular basis of chronic diseases so that more effective therapies can be developed. MMRI uses a multidisciplinary approach to focus on the cellular, immunological and connective tissue abnormalities associated with diseases such as cancer, scleroderma, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, and osteoporosis.

The MMRI team includes an experienced group of scientists and physicians who are dedicated to bridging the gap between science and medical practice. Our scientists have broad expertise, which allows the rapid identification of specific abnormalities that underlie disease expression at the molecular and cellular level. MMRI has a collaborative network of colleagues at leading public and private institutions in the United States.

MMRI provides the tools and infrastructure that allows researchers the capability for immediate experimentation with minimal start-up and overhead expense. MMRI can share state-of-art research equipment and capabilities with potential affiliates at minimal cost to them. MMRI has been featured in the Silicon Valley BUSINESS INK.
